Top 10 Films of 2009

What were the best films of 2009? It's only my opinion, but since I am Senor Sock, I am absolutely right. Here they are.

#10--Powder Blue

Jessica Biel. Naked. What more do you need to know?

#8--The Informant

No, not the crappy Matt Damon movie "The Informant!". "The Informers" with Amber Heard doing a fine nude scene!

#6--Up in the Air

Best movie Clooney has done in some time. Men Who Stare at Departure Boards.

#4--Sherlock Holmes

Wildly entertaining Sherlock Holmes movie starring Robert Downey Jr. that was completely ignored by the Academy Awards. Shame on them.

#2--The Blind Side

A tie for second place! "The Blind Side" featured a heartwarming story, great casting AND most importantly, Sandra Bullock in extremely tight clothing!

#9--Star Trek

What, no "Avatar" on the list? No. When it comes down to it, I would much rather see "Star Trek" again. This re-imagining has its flaws but was generally entertaining and not an insult to old time fans. Frankly if I never see "Avatar" again, that will be too soon.

#7--The Messenger

An interesting film about two guys who have a difficult assignment. Don't come in late or you will miss some fine nudity...though then you can avoid seeing Harrelson's full moon.

#5--Zombieland

I know, I know, I know. But I liked it. Bill Murray's cameo was a great, great moment.

#3--The Road

If the world is coming to an end, who would you rather be with than Charlize Theron? Yes!

#2--The Hurt Locker

A Iraq war movie where the US military are NOT the bad guys!!!! Some very nice scenes of suspense and tension as one wonders if bombs are about to blow up or Evangeline Lilly is about to disrobe.

#1 Best Film of 2009

The brains at Pixar have done it again. After the wildly overrated and greatly disappointing WALL-E, they bounce back with a film full of heart, adventure and good humor. I loved it. One question though: how did Carl (Ed Asner) wind up marrying Mrs. Incredible? For a cartoon chick, she's hot!

Senor Sock recieved no compensation for naming these films to his list. This does not mean he will not accept compensation for naming a film to NEXT year's list.
